The SwitchBox offers a versatile solution for remotely controlling various electrical devices, enhancing home and aviation automation.

General Use: With the SwitchBox, users can seamlessly automate their surroundings, controlling heating, lighting, and air conditioning from anywhere in the world. A noteworthy feature is the ability to turn on the air conditioning before returning home or remotely checking and switching off lights left on inadvertently, ultimately promoting energy efficiency.

For Pilots: The convenience of activating your engine heater directly from your cellphone eliminates the need for pre-flight trips to the airport. Additionally, users can set up a second device, such as a cabin heater for sensitive avionics or even a coffee maker, ahead of their arrival at the aircraft.

This application operates as an interface to facilitate communication via text and phone calls to your SwitchBox device through the Twilio internet telephone service. The SwitchBox itself is equipped with electrical switches capable of managing devices with a maximum total power of 1800W, allowing for easy control over connected appliances. Both phone calls and text messages can initiate or terminate power to these devices as needed.
